Prof. Frank Geßner

Biography

Frank Geßner is an artist and professor of the theory and practice of visual arts at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. He has held guest professorships at the Berlin University of the Arts, the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, and the Jilin Animation Institute in Changchun, China. He has also been a guest artist at CalArts/California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles, USA. He has given lectures, written essays, and conducted workshops both in Germany and abroad.
