Alberto Couceiro

Biography

Alberto Couceiro, born in Buenos Aires, has lived in Berlin since the 1990s. He is an animation filmmaker and co-founder of the Animas Film Studio in Neukölln. Since 2014, he has been teaching animation at the Film University Babelsberg as well as at other institutions in Germany and abroad. His animated films have been internationally acclaimed and have won numerous awards. In recent years, he has been conducting artistic research into analogue animation in the digital age.
