How does Prague in spring and a great film program sound? Well, we’ve got something for you: We are delighted about this year’s cooperation with Prague Film Festival (PFF)!
The Prague Film Festival 2025 will take place from April 23 to April 26 in Prague, showcasing over 72 selected films from around the world. The main competition jury for this year includes renowned filmmakers whose works have resonated at prestigious international festivals. The festival will also introduce the ANIRAMA platform, dedicated to presenting student animated films in development. The ANIRAMA jury includes Polish animation director Izabela Plucińska, who won the Silver Bear at Berlinale for her film Jam Session, Hungarian director Réka Bucsi, known for her surreal poetic style, Czech festival strategy expert Alexandra Hroncová, and German animator, director and FAB team member Maximilian Breckwoldt.
The festival will take place at Kino Pilotu Prague and, in addition to film screenings, will offer inspiring masterclasses with jury members and other distinguished guests. The Prague Film Festival 2025 promises a rich program for demanding film audiences and an opportunity to discover new talents. Attendees can also look forward to exclusive masterclasses with top filmmakers (Gunnur Martinsdóttir Schlüter and Elzbieta Benkowska), providing valuable insights into the creative and production process.
And that’s not all: If you visit the PFF on April 26, 2025, you can also get in the mood for the upcoming FAB! There will be a FAB Best Of showcasing some film gems from our previous editions. In return, Festival Director Erik Jasaň and Co-Director Hynek Spurný will be visiting us in this fall with an excellent film selection for FAB 2025 in their luggage.
