Walk the Walkcycle: Streetwalk

Almost everyone who creates animation has at some point developed a walk cycle—a classic exercise for studying timing and movement sequences. However, these animations usually disappear into a drawer. We're bringing them back onto the streets and getting them moving! As part of the fifth FAB Dimensional exhibition, the submitted walk cycles will be moved around Berlin using a specially developed trailer with two LED panels. The faster the trailer is pulled, the faster the character runs. The project, which is being realized in cooperation with ÜB3R e.V., makes animation directly tangible and visible.
