Shot by Shot

How do you visually convey an important and dramatic scene in an animated film in a way that is both clear and exciting? This presentation with Baoying Bilgeri focuses on the art of storyboarding. After a short crash course on the user interface and the most important functions of the Toon Boom Storyboard Pro software, participants will develop a given scene beginning further and visualize it in the second part – either digitally or traditionally on paper. The focus is on selecting suitable shot sizes and a coherent sequence of images. At the end, the results and different approaches will be discussed together. No prior knowledge of Toon Boom Storyboard Pro is required. If you wish, you can bring the software (also as a demo version) on your own laptop and tablet. In Cooperation with ToonBoom
