This one-hour workshop focuses on the materials needed to make a stop-motion film. Five established filmmakers provide insights into their individual processes and discuss what to look out for when building puppets and sets. Mona Keil („Saft“), Alexandra Lermer („Freak of Nature“), Jan Gadermann (“Laika & Nemo”), Stefan Schomerus (“Unser Sandmännchen”) and Arne Hain (“The Last Bar,” “Phil Tippett's MAD GOD”) know all about working on large stop-motion projects, but also how to get by on a small budget and where to save money. All five have different approaches and they will share them with you.
