Megpoid GUMI live at FAB's Award Show

Megpoid GUMI, the virtual singer from Japan, will perform at the FAB 2025 closing ceremony on Sunday, September 28th! GUMI can sing anything music producers desire, as her voice has been recorded by the Japanese company „Internet Co., Ltd.“ and singer Megumi Nakajima, and released into a variety of software products since 2009. But how can a virtual singer perform? The UK-based association VOCAWAVES will demonstrate this. They have used the animation software ""MikuMikuDance"" to compile a selection of 3D-animated dances by GUMI to accompany two of her songs. At the booth of the Berlin-based association VOCABERLIN e.V. in the Festival Lounge you will also learn how and with which programmes the singer GUMI is made to sing. You can make her sing your own lyrics, animate her dance moves, and learn what a ""doujinshi"" event is and how this one came about. At the VOCABERLIN booth, you'll also find a miniature stage, built in cooperation with FAB, where GUMI houses inside. GUMI (Megpoid) © Internet Co., Ltd.
