FAB Dimensional

Explore and experience animation in space: complementing our competition and supporting program, the fifth edition of the FAB Dimensional exhibition series presents Expanded Animation by international artists. The concrete hall is transformed into a laboratory for animation art that can be experienced not on a cinema screen, but within the space itself. The free exhibition brings together international artistic positions at the intersections of sculpture, games, installation, and performance - it invites audiences of all ages to participate, marvel, and reflect. From analog to digital and back again: the works on display span a wide variety of techniques. Traditional methods such as mosaic and etching are combined with digital projections and animation, exploring questions of object, space, and perception. Individual experiences of self and the world are reconsidered, and visitors are invited to interact through choreographic or playful interventions. Social dystopias, generational anxieties, memories, rituals, and collective work are reflected upon poetically, introspectively, and interactively.
