The creative landscape is, time and again, wild and unpredictable. Alongside luck and perseverance, a good dose of adaptability is essential to navigate the jungle of dry spells, funding rejections and eccentric clients. In a playful dialogue, we would like to take a closer look at the supposed taboo of “Surviving in the Animation Industry”. We will talk about necessary evils, unpleasant commissions, moral boundaries, insider tips and strategies that reach beyond the creative sector. Some paths lead out of freelancing into new territory, while others open unexpected doors into an artistic career.
