Animation Rendezvous #5

Where does an animated world begin – with an image or a movement? At Animation Rendezvous #5, we explore the creative intersections and tensions between illustration and animation. Guest Emile Cerf presents work that navigates the boundaries of design, illustration, and animation. Pia Graf brings vibrant pieces inspired by rubber hose aesthetics, pop culture, and themes of gender, nature, and the absurd. Mic Lololand showcases his AR project for Berlin’s Museum für Kommunikation. Plus: Julie Stephen Chheng invites visitors into her immersive exhibition Traumjagd – a poetic blend of paper art, augmented reality, and imaginary nature spirits. A cooperation between Animation Network Berlin e. V. and the Institut Français.
