Animation Rendezvous #7: Animation meets ULTRAshort

Following the exciting last rendezvous during the 8th Festival of Animation Berlin, we encounter the phenomenon of ultra-short films in the context of the 41st International Short Film Festival INTERFILM with our Rendezvous #7. Our guest is the pop-up festival Shcha7sec, which describes itself as a nomadic, micro festival and offers a platform for animated films under 7 seconds in length in the context of other festivals. It is not curated; all those visitors present are allowed to award one of the films shown with a prize they have brought with them, and up to 120 films are shown in a very short time. It will be the world premiere of the 12th edition of Shcha7sec. After the very diverse and intense film programme by international filmmakers, there will be a short reflection on the phenomenon of ultra-short films, followed by ultra-long discussions and intense exchanges to conclude the evening.
